Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a rotary member having a high precise rotor part by a simple process.
SOLUTION: The rotary member 10 of a hub bearing, etc., is provided with a rotary member body 11 formed to a prescribed product shape by hot-forging and a rotor part 12 formed to a finish size shape by cold-forging executed after the hot-forging. A manufacturing method of this rotary member 10 is provided with a first forging process which forms the rotary member body 11 to a desired product shape by hit-pressing the blank having the vol. corresponding to the rotary member 10 with the hot-forging and at the same time, forms the rotor part 12 to the outer shape near the product shape, and a second forging process which incorporates the preform formed in this first forging process into a die for the cold-forging and executes cold-coining of the rotor part 12 having the finish-size shape by the rotor-forming surface in the die.
