Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press-in steel pipe pile having a large diameter wing which can be produced at a low cost and the installation of the pile can be performed smoothly.
SOLUTION: In a steel pipe pile 1 having a spiral wing 2 at the tip which is rotated and pressed into the ground, the outer diameter D2, of the wing is up to 1.5 to 3 times the outer diameter D of a steel pipe, a donut-shaped steel plate having the inner diameter D3 of 0.4 to 0.9 times the inner diameter D1 of the steel pipe pile is cut off at one place in the radial direction and welded and fixed to the steel pipe pile end portion 3 cut to a spiral shape on a concentric circle and the spiral wing 2 is extended to the inner and outer portion of the tip end portion 3 of the steel pipe pile as a profile feature.
