Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft of casting in which chilled members and a shaft main body are sufficiently welded with each other.
SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 1 of casting is provided with a shaft main body 6 by casting, and insert members S1 inserted by the shaft main body 6 when the shaft main body 6 is cast to compose part of slide parts 31-35. The shaft main body 6 is composed of flakes of graphite cast iron, and the insert members S1 are composed of sintered alloy. Among an eutectic temperature TE of the flakes of graphite cast iron, and a liquids temperature TL and a solidus temperature TS of sintered alloy, relation of TS≤TE≤TL (TS<TL) is satisfied. The shaft member 6 and the insert members S1 are thus sufficiently welded with each other by liquid phase-liquid phase contact.
