Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sheet coil type rotary transformer which can be configured accurately and easily.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary transformer comprising a secondary side coil whose two sets of conductor patterns 2, 7 are provided respectively on the surface and rear surface of an insulating thin-film board 1 and are connected with each other via a through hole 6 and a primary side coil opposed to the secondary side coil with an air gap between them, wherein the conductor patterns are formed out of concentric multistage thin-film conductors 2o-2z, 7o-7z in one portion of each conductor of which a gap portion 3 is provided, and in the conductor patterns 2 of the surface side, the end portions of the respective adjacent thin-film conductors of the ones 2o-2z are connected in succession by jumper wires 5 obliquely in the gap portions 3, and further, the end portion of the innermost side thin-film conductor 2z is connected with the through hole 6. In the conductor patterns 7 of the rear surface side, the end portion of the thin-film conductor 7z is connected with the through hole 6, and the end portions of the respective adjacent thin-film conductors of the ones 7o-7z are connected in succession by jumper wires 8, interlinking them respectively to the jumper wires 5 of the conductor patterns 2 of the surface side. Thereby, the secondary side coil is configurated.
