To provide a rotary type gate, which does not require an indented section while the bottom face of a waterway is left flat as it is when a radial gate is to be installed.
The rotary type gate has a vertically rotatable first door body and a vertically rotatable second door body arranged in the bosom section of the first door body, the first door body seals a section between the bottom face of the waterway and a wall surface, and the second door body seals a section between the bosom section of the first door body and the second door body. Accordingly, a water level on the upstream side of the waterway is adjusted freely by rotating the second door body in the vertical direction, and the waterway is opened freely by upwards turning the first door body and the second door body.
