Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine that facilitates increase of coil space factor, ensures insulation also between adjacent coils, and allows smooth installation of coils.SOLUTION: A stator 10 comprises an insulator 20 which has insulation property. The insulator 20 includes: a tooth covering part 21 that covers a side surface 16a of a tooth 16; a yoke covering part 22 that extends in θ direction so as to cover at least a part of an R-direction inner side surface of a yoke 12 from a tip of an R-direction outer side surface of the tooth covering part 21; and an extension part 23 that extends on the inner side relative to the R direction from the yoke covering part 22. A coil 45 is intensively wound on the tooth 16 through the tooth covering part 21. The extension part 23 is disposed between two coils 45 adjacent each other in the θ direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
