PURPOSE: To obtain a desired speed of rotation in a shorter time after the impression of voltage by facilitating the rise of temperature of a magnetic fluid by a heating means of the magnetic fluid so as to realize the rapid lowering of viscosity of the magnetic fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A rotation induction terminal 1 is composed of a rotating shaft 2 coupling a turning body 3 and a motor 8. magnets 4 provided so that the like polarities are opposite to each other with the rotating shaft 2 interposed between them, a magnetic fluid 5 provided between the magnets, and a jacket 9 for water cooling. In this construction, a heating means of the magnetic fluid is provided. As for the heating means, a means of letting hot water flow into the jacket 9 or a means of winding a heater round the terminal 1 may be adopted. Thereby the rise of temperature of the magnetic fluid 5 is facilitated and thus rapid lowering of the viscosity of the magnetic fluid 5 is realized. This enables the attainment of a desired speed of rotation in a shorter time after the impression of voltage.
