Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a rotational speed control method of a planetary roller type power transmission device, capable of holding a slip factor down to less than the allowable value and, what is more, performing such a stable speed change as leaving a margin in shift torque in relation to the gear shifting shortened in shift time, or the allowable slip factor, in the case where power engine speed is shifted.

CONSTITUTION: In a planetary roller type power transmission device, this rotational speed control method is as follows; input engine speed, namely, output engine speed is shifted in making output torque in each elapsed output engine speed in an input engine speed shift attendant upon an allowable slip factor, or another torque lower in constant value than the output torque as a shift torque in each elapsed output engine speed.
