Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rotor, whereby both the number of machining processes when machining its slots and the number of assembling processes when assembling it can be reduced, and to provide a structure for making such a manufacturing method realizable.
SOLUTION: Dividing axially both left and right end rings respectively into inside and outside left end rings 14A, 14B and into inside and outside right end rings 14A', 14B', in the state of attaching the inside end rings 14A, 14A' to the outer peripheries of both the left and right ends of a core 2, a slot ranging via the core 2 from one inside end ring to the other inside end ring is machined by only one process to obtain one completely aligned slot. In the state of completing a predetermined number of slot machining in this way, fitting rotor bars into the respective slots, the rotor bars and both the inside and outside end rings are welded to each other by electron beam welding to provide an integral welding method and an integral structure comprising the rotor, rotor bars and end rings which is completed in this way.
