Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the size and to improve the torque characteristic of a motor by providing an auxiliary permanent magnet around a permanent magnet, thereby increasing the effective magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 6-1 magnetized in desired number of poles is mounted on a rotor yoke 7-1, thereby forming a rotor 12-1 of a motor. An auxiliary permanent magnet 20-1 is closely contacted with the outer periphery of the permanent magnet 6-1 and arranged to bury the rotor yoke 7-1. The magnetizing direction of the magnet 20-1 is vertically to the shaft as shown, magnetized in the polarity so that the N-poles are repelled, and the magnets 6-1, 12-1 are equalized in the number of the poles. In this manner, it becomes a gap magnetic flux density as shown, and the magnetic flux crossing the stator winding can be increased.
