Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotor of rotary electric machine which can prevent breakdown of a magnet which is arranged between the pawl type magnetic poles in order to reduce the amount of leakage of magnetic flux between the pawl type magnetic poles.
SOLUTION: A rotor coil 13 is provided to generate a magnetic flux by applying a current, a pole core consisting of a first pole core body 21 and a second pole core body 22 having the pawl type magnetic poles 23, 24 provided covering the rotor coil 13 and a plurality of magnets are provided between the neighboring pawl type magnetic poles 23, 24 and magnetized in such a direction so as to reduce the amount of magnetic flux leakage of the pawl type magnetic poles 23, 24. Each magnet is composed of a first magnet portion 31 fixed by a fixing means, to the pawl type magnetic pole 23 of the first pole core body 21 and a second magnetic portion 34 fixed by a fixing means, to the pawl type magnetic pole 24 of the second pole core body 22.
