Title:
ROTOR FOR ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5556435
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable fine adjustment of cooling air flow rate and facilitate an easy manipulation of mounting a spider cover for a rotary electric machine by radially dividing the spider cover for blocking a spider vent opening into a plurality of divisions. CONSTITUTION:A spider vent opening for introducing cooling wind into the rotor is blocked by a spider cover 3 in a spider 2 for supporting salient poles 10 through annular iron core 8 to a rotary shaft. The spider cover 3 is radially divided, for example, into three segments in such a manner that the respective spider cover segments are detachably mounted via bolts 26 at the spider 2. Since the weight of the respective segments of ths spider cover 3 is thus reduced, it facilitates an easy manipulation of mounting the spider cover. Inasmuch as the segments can be detached one by one, it can finely adjust the cooling air flow rate.
