Abstract:
To provide a rotor, a rotary electric machine, a manufacturing method for the rotor, and a magnet with improved performance such as torque and output by eliminating a gap between the magnet and a magnet insertion hole by means of the magnet with excellent dimensional precision.SOLUTION: A rotor 4 includes: a rotor core 21; and magnets 22 that are press-fitted respectively into magnet insertion openings 25 provided in the rotor core 21. The magnet 22 has: a hard magnetic body 51; and a resin layer 52 including a soft magnetic material, laminated on the hard magnetic body 51 and arranged outside of the rotor core 21 in a radial direction. The resin layer 52 has grooves extending in a direction intersecting the insertion direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
