PURPOSE: To provide a turbine generator rotor wherein it relaxes the concentration of a face pressure at the contact face of the end part of an adjacent wedge inserted into a slot in a rotor core with the slot, it prevents fretting damage from being caused and its fatigue strength is high.
CONSTITUTION: A turbine generator turbine is formed in such a way that many slots are formed in the axial direction at the outer circumference of a rotor and that coils and a plurality of wedges 5 are inserted respectively into the upper part and the lower part inside the slots. In the turbine generator rotor, wedge faces 7A which are subjected to a face pressure in the radial direction due to a centrifugal force are made to protrude to the axial direction from each wedge axial-direction edge 9 so as to be eaves-shaped, each hollow part 12 is formed at an end part in the axial direction of each wedge 5, and protruding parts are formed to be a nearly triangular shape in which a cross section cut by a plane perpendicular to the wedge faces 7A and parallel to the axial direction becomes thinner as they advance to tip parts. Thereby, the concentration of a face pressure at the contact face of the end part of each wedge and each slot, and it is possible to prevent fretting damage due to the bending flexure of the rotor from being caused.
