Abstract:
To provide a lightweight rotor having high creep strength and capable of being easily machined.
This rotor can be obtained by impregnating, under pressure, a molten aluminum alloy containing ≥2% copper into a preform composed of aluminum borate whiskers or potassium titanate whiskers and then machining the resultant parts.
