Abstract:
PURPOSE: To designate a correct route by alternately designating the route from an entraining spot to a destination spot and transfer points in accordance with the menu displayed on a picture.
CONSTITUTION: A CRT 2 is provided on which not only retrieved information of routes connected to a designated station but also retrieved stations included in a designated route are displayed. When an operator designates one station, a menu of routes connected to this station is displayed on the picture; and when one route (station) out of these routes is specified, a menu of stations (routes) for selecting operation determined by this route (station) is displayed, and thereby, the operator is enabled to alternately designate stations and routes. Meanwhile, a storage medium HD 9 where information designated by this series of operations should be stored is provided, and route information inputted and stored till then are edited into a prescribed telegraphic message for inquiry to a center 11 and are transmitted to the center 11 through a communication line 10 when the route is settled.
