Abstract:

To simplify the operation for searching a route, while searching for the route that is the driver's intention.

The route search system comprises the mounting part for mounting the medium; the determination process means to determine whether the medium has been mounted on the mounting part; the driver's intention determination means to determine the driver's intention, depending on whether the medium is mounted on the mounting part; and the search process means for searching the route, based on the driver's intention. The driver's intention is determined, depending on whether the medium is mounted on the mounting part, and the route is searched based on the drivers intention. Consequently, the route intended by the driver can be searched, and also the operation for searching the route can be simplified.
