Abstract:
To surely prevent the congestion state of packets in a specified WAN interface port.
A congestion control circuit 5 is made to monitor the congestion state of the packets flowing on WAN interface circuits 6a and 6b, and in the case that the congestion of the packets is generated, the layer of BRI interface circuits 2a-2h without access yet and an exchange 1 is lowered and the layer of the other BRI interface circuits 2a-2h connected to the separately provided WAN interface circuits 6a and 6b through other multiplexing parts 3a and 3b connected to them and the exchange 1 is raised.
