Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber adhesive excellent in storage stability and in adhesive strength at high temp. by mixing a solvent-based rubber adhesive with a reaction product of a resin having epoxy groups in the molecule with an aminosilane.
CONSTITUTION: A rubber adhesive is obtd. by using 100 pts.wt. elastomer (e.g. a chloroprene rubber), 2-20 pts.wt. product of reaction between a resin having epoxy groups in the molecule (e.g. an epoxidized coumarone-indene resin) and an aminosilane (e.g. 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane) in an org. solvent (e.g. at 60° for 4hr), a tackifying resin (e.g. an alkylphenol resin), and a solvent (e.g. toluene or n-hexane).
