To provide a rubber asphalt composition which has not only satisfactory tensile strength and in which a greasy feeling has been removed even when it is exposed to a higher temperature (e.g., under hot weather in a midsummer) than a normal temperature, but also has excellent extensibility even when it is exposed to a lower temperature than a normal temperature (e.g., at a temperature lower than a freezing point).
This rubber asphalt composition comprises (a) a rubber asphalt emulsion containing (a-1) a polymer latex and (a-2) asphalt, (b) a vulcanizing agent and (c) a vulcanizing assistant, wherein the total content of (b) a vulcanizing agent and (c) a vulcanizing assistant is 0.1 to 8.0 parts by mass, relative to 100 parts by mass of (a) a rubber asphalt emulsion (as a solid content).
