In the running transmission of a working car in which a main transmission 7 and sub-transmission 8 are provided speed-changably by the artificial operation type operation means 7L provided separately for each, a speed change allowable state detection means SW for detecting whether the running state of the working car is the speed change allowable state which is a stop state or the low speed running state lower than a set speed or not is provided and a restrain means for restraining the gear shift of the sub- transmission 8 is provided based on the detection information of this speed change allowable state detection means SW, unless the running state of the working car is the speed change allowable state.
