Abstract:
The invention relates to novel sugars which contain an isocyanide dichloride group bonded to one of the non-anomeric C atoms of the sugar molecule, and their preparation by chlorinating sugars which contain an isonitrile group bonded to one of the non-anomeric C atoms of the sugar molecule.
