Abstract:
Provided is a saddle-type vehicle with which increased cleaner capacity can be achieved with minimal impact on rideability. The vehicle is provided with an air cleaner device (20) that is disposed in an intake air passage via which intake air is guided into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine (11), said air cleaner device (20) cleaning the intake air via an internally disposed element (21). The air cleaner device (20) is provided with a case body (22) for forming a clean chamber (C) downstream of the element (21), and a case cover (50) for forming a dirty chamber (D) upstream of the element (21), said case cover (50) being attached to the case body (22) so as to cover an opening (22a) of the case body (22) and the element (21). The case body (22) is provided with an upper case (30) and a lower case (40) vertically divided at a dividing surface (22d). The lower case (40) is formed to have a large opening area going from bottom to top towards the dividing surface (22d) as seen from the front side of the vehicle, and the upper case (30) is formed to have a smaller opening area going towards the top from the dividing surface (22d) as seen from the front side of the vehicle.
