Abstract:
Provided is a front/rear interlocking brake device for a saddle-type vehicle that can be attached on the side of a vehicle body in a state in which components relating to a bracket that pivotally supports a rear brake pedal are sub-assembled in advance. Brackets (50, 100) that can be attached to and detached from the vehicle body are provided, each bracket (50, 100) being provided with: an oscillating shaft (53, 80) of a brake pedal (31); an attachment part (50e, 100e) for front wheel brake transmission means (54, 79) and rear wheel transmission means (46) connected to the brake pedal (31) via link means (L1, L2); and a spring engagement part (50f, 100f) that engages with one end of a return spring (59) that biases the movement of the brake pedal (31) toward an initial position.
