PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety confirmation system and a safety confirmation method that can appropriately determine the safety of a monitor object.SOLUTION: A safety confirmation system 1 includes a detection device, a control device 30, and a management device 60 (center server). The detection device finds out whether a lighting device 10 has been operated or not. The control device 30 obtains a detection result from the detection device via communication.
