Abstract:
PURPOSE:To securely inform an operator of abnormal condition in pyrotechnics concerning a rocket motor or an air bag etc, by announcing an alarm as soon as opening an ignition circuit when any abnormal pressure of inert gas is detected by a pressure switch. CONSTITUTION:An igniter 3 and a pressure switch 4 are installed inside a chemicals chamber 2 in which gas generating agent 1 and inert gas are injected and the terminal 5 of the pressure switch 4 is connected to a power supply 8 and one side of a terminal 6 and the other side thereof are connected to the power supply 8 via relays 10/12 and the igniter 3 respectively. When gas pressure is normal and the pressure switch 4 is closed, the relay 10 closes following the closure of a power supply switch 7 and a current can flow to the igniter 3 via an ignition switch 11. However, when internal pressure drops to open the pressure switch 4, the relay 12 closes to operate an alarm 9 and also opens the relay 10 on the ignition circuit side to make the igniter 3 inoperative. Further, if the igniter 3 is broken, a detection circuit 13 operates to announce abnormal condition.
