To provide a sandal with which the calf can be stretched while doing household chores.

A sandal includes a sandal body 3 and a sole member 4 pivoted to the rear part of the sandal body 3. The upper face 3a of the sandal body 3 is slanted upward in the forward direction. An angle θ formed between the sandal body 3 and a ground G is structured variably in multi-steps. Between the sandal body 3 and the sole member 4, a resilient member resiliency urged in the decreasing direction of the angle θ formed by the sandal body 3 and the ground G, is provided. The sandal has a cam for adjusting the angle θ and a knob 2 for giving torque to the cam, and also has a cam receiving recess in which the sole member 4 receives the cam.
