To provide a new sanitary absorbent article capable of overcoming such problems common to conventional ones as the shifting of the back layer, resulting in the liquid-absorbant region slipping off the private parts or disjoined along with the movement of an underwear when used with the underwear being fixed at the sticky layer.
A solid wall 10 is provided in the form of a liquid-penetrating sheet 8 over the absorbent layer 3 for the sanitary absorbent article. Stand-up walls 12a, 12b rise from the fixing ends 11a, 11b, and a skin-touching part 12e extends on both sides, right and left from above the stand-up walls 12a and 12b to constitute the solid wall 10. The skin-touching part 12e rises in the T-shape by the elastic contractibility of an elastic member 13 so that the skin-touching part 12e can be intimately adhered to the private parts even though the back layer 2 fixed to the underwear at the sticky layer may happen to shift, allowing menstrual discharge to be given from the solid wall 10 to the absorbent layer 3 to be absorbed.
