Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the quantity of materials for use and provide an inexpensive product by forming inward on a napkin body a wing member having gathers independent of the body.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic material 3 is fixed to both sides of a sheet formed out of a plurality of stacked water repellent or water impermeable sheets. Also, releasing paper 4 with a pressure sensitive adhesive is fixed to the sheet. The sheet and the paper 4 are divided into the form of corrugation, and an angular wing member 7 is thereby formed. Furthermore, the member 7 is placed on the leakage prevention sheet 12 of a napkin body 23, with the bulge section positioned inside. Also, the outer end of the member 7 and the external side of the surface sheet and the sheet 12 are thermally deposited and fixed to one another and, then, both sides and ends thereof are cut out.
