Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite receiver and its operating instructions which reduce efficiently power consumption and which are suitable for each use of continued connection and a single satellite receiver.
SOLUTION: The satellite receiver 190 is provided with a switch 200 for shutting off a route 120. The switch 200 is controlled by power supply voltage generated in a power supply device 110 where power supply is supplied to an LNB connected to an antenna terminal 70. Therefore, the satellite receiver 190 has a control route 210 for supplying the power supply voltage to the switch 200, and turns off the switch 200 in the case that the power supply voltage is not supplied to the LNB.
