Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a saw blade improved in chipping performance (sharpness) by chipping the groove bottom of a chipped groove in the cross state at the time of using this saw blade and in its turn enabling the use of thin tips so as to reduce the quantity of chipped powder while improving the yield of cut stone material.

CONSTITUTION: In a blade 1 provided with the required number of segments disposed at circumferentially equal spaces apart with grinding tips provided at the tips of these segments, partial segments 2 are formed into thin resilient segments inclined at an easy grade to the rotating direction (a) of the blade 1, and other partial segments 3 are formed into thin resilient segments inclined at an easy grade reversely to the resilient segments 2 in relation to the rotating direction (a) of the blade 1. The tips 5, 6 of these resilient segments 2, 3 are formed to be thinner than other tips 7.
