Abstract:
To efficiently perform processing of executing tasks in predetermined periods by a plurality of apparatuses in cooperation with each other.SOLUTION: A multi-functional peripheral device (image forming apparatus 1) comprises a task scheduler 101 and shares a schedule with an information processing apparatus (personal computer) that executes a command from the task scheduler, and further comprises: a schedule storage unit 80 that stores schedule information indicating tasks designated by a user and the time and date of execution of the tasks; and a control unit 100 that executes the tasks indicated in the schedule information. The task scheduler 101 determines, based on the schedule information stored in the schedule storage unit 80, whether the start date and time is reached at which predetermined processing required for the execution of the tasks indicated in the schedule information should be performed, and when determining that the start date and time is reached, performs the predetermined processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
