To provide scissors which can easily cut only white hair without excessively cutting black hair around the white hair or damaging the root of the black hair and which can be easily used.

A pair of scissors 1 are formed in such a manner that a pair of right and left blades 2 are pivotally connected via a spindle 5 positioning between each blade 2 having an edge 6 and a shaft 4 having a handle 3 so that the blades 2 can be opened/closed. A catching and sliding opening 9 for introducing the white hair (H), by which the blades 2 put the tip of white hair (H) between and move along the white hair (H) to the root of the hair and the root is cut by opening and closing movement of the edges 6 of the blades 2, is formed at the tip of each edge 6 of the blade 2. The catching and sliding opening 9 is formed by an arc-shaped notch opened in each blade 2 between a part 7 in which the tips of the blades 2 are overlapped when the blades 2 are closed and the tips of the edges 6.
