To provide a screen for thick film printing by which a stripe-like thick film can be formed with a high dimensional/shape accuracy, a method for printing a thick film and an electrical discharge displaying apparatus provided with the thick film with a high dimensional/shape accuracy.

By using a screen plate provided with a pattern in which the dimension of the width of an aperture 56 is made smaller within a range of about 5-6 mm of its one end and sliding a squeegee along the direction toward one end from another end of the aperture 56 to apply a thick film printing, a stripe-like barrier is formed on the inner face of the back face plate and therefore, increases in dimension of the height and dimension of the width of the barrier at the terminal end part in the sliding direction can be suppressed. Therefore, caused by the dimension of the height becoming partially higher at the terminal end part, it is suppressed that a gap between the top part of the barrier and the inner face of the front face plate is generated.
