Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seal used for mounting and securing an intake manifold in a gas-tight manner on a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine during the whole use period of the internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: Sealing surfaces 4 are interconnected by web segments 6, and at least one of the web segments 6 is designed in one area of its extent to act as a linear tolerance compensation segment 7, to be flexurally soft and/or capable of folding together.
