Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure for a fuel cell, capable of suppressing the occurrence of defects owing to softening and shrinkage of a seal member.SOLUTION: A recessed seal groove 132 is formed to surround gas circulation parts 13a, 13b, in a cell frame 13 configuring the gas circulation parts 13a, 13b in one cell 10A of adjacent cells 10. A projecting part 142 projecting toward the seal groove 132 to surround the gas circulation parts 14a, 14b is formed at a position facing the seal groove 132 of the cell frame 13 in a separator 14 configuring the gas circulation parts 14a, 14b in the other cell 10B of the adjunct cells 10. A seal member 17 is formed of a material having characteristics of softening within an operation temperature range of a solid oxide fuel cell 1, and is disposed so as to overlap with each of an inside of the seal groove 132 and the projecting part 142, as viewed from a direction orthogonal to a lamination direction of the cell 10.
