Abstract:
PURPOSE:To utterly and uniformly stir and mix a sealing agent in a container, by making a bottom-rotating body and side-rotating bodies of a stirring paddle rotatable closely along the container's bottom and inner side walls, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 5 of a stirring and mixing apparatus 4 is bridged over the mouth 3 of a container 4 and a stirring paddle 19 of the apparatus is inserted into the container. Then, by controlling the operation of a motor 11 fixed on the base plate 5, a bottom-rotating body 24 connected on the bottom end of a main shaft 23 of the stirring paddle 19 and side-rotating bodies 25 connected to both ends of the bottom-rotating body 24 are rotated closely along the container's bottom and inner side walls, respectively. At the time, the height h of the side-rotating bodies is determined about a half of the container's height H. As a result, a sealing agent is not raised along the walls unnecessarily and overflowing of the sealing agent out of the container is prevented.
