Abstract:

To provide a sealing device 1 with seal lips 6, 8 having improved durability by reducing sliding torque even when using the sealing device 1 under severe muddy water-proof conditions.

The sealing device 1 comprises the seal lips 6, 8 having slidable close contact with the other member 4. Roughened portions 9, 10 are provided on contact surfaces 6a, 8a of the seal lips 6, 8 against the other member 4. Thus, the seal lips 6, 8 have improved lubricating performance and reduced friction.
