Abstract:
To provide an end-sealing gasket that prevents the dispersion of an end-sealing member of a battery can even when a pressure in the battery can radically increases.SOLUTION: In a battery 1, an end-sealing gasket 10 insulating a bottomed cylindrical battery can 2 and an end-sealing member 7 sealing an opening of the battery can, includes, in a battery 1, a film-shaped partition wall portion 13 that isolates a region housing electric power generation elements (3, 4, 5) from an end-sealing member side region while sealing a region housing the electric power generation elements. A groove-shaped thin wall part 15 is formed on the partition wall portion. In the thin wall part, the ratio t2/t1 is 5.0 or more and 8.0 or less where t1 is the thickness of a region 16 corresponding to the groove bottom and t2 is the thickness of a region 18 corresponding to the groove edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
