Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be excellent in waterproofness and prevent breakage of a mechanical fastening part by constituting a sealant with a peelable viscous gel material with high softness, and inserting a sealing foot part into the sealant in a liquid state before changing into a gel material to seal by adhesion of the sealant.
SOLUTION: After 2-4 minutes since a liquid sealant 30 is applied to a sealing groove 10, the sealant 30 is cooled from 80°C to normal temperature, and the liquid sealant 30 is converted into a peelable viscous gel material with high softness. In this state, a housing 1 and a lens 2 are mechanically fastened with a clip for example to fix the seal groove 10 and a sealing foot 20, and a compartment (a light compartment) 12 is partitioned in a waterproof state with the housing 1 and the lens 2 and sealant. Since the sealant 30 is not compressed and repulsive force of the sealant 30 is not generated, stress is rarely applied to the mechanical fastening part, and breakage of the housing 1 of the mechanical fastening part and the lens 2 is prevented.
