Abstract:
To improve restraining performance of an occupant's upper body.
Since a first restraining part 18A and a second restraining part 18B of a shoulder webbing 18 are mounted in a bifurcated shape to a shoulder part of a vehicle outside of the occupant in a seat belt device 10, the load on a shoulder part of the occupant 16 is dispersed into two webbing of the first restraining part 18A and the second restraining part 18B. Therefore, the restraining performance of the upper body of the occupant 16 by the shoulder webbing 18 is improved.
