This seat of a construction machine has a seat part 10 and a backrest part 11. Both sides of the backrest part 11 are provided with shoulder supports 13a and 13b for supporting the shoulder part of the operator, the shoulder supports 13a and 13b can be changed in angle in the longitudinal direction, the surface of at least one of the central part of the seat and the central part of the backrest part is covered with a surface member having air permeability, the surface member has a constitution where a cloth 15a and a rubber layer 15b having many air vents, and the rubber layer is disposed on the front side.
