To provide a seat damper which prevents a strut from being deformed even if a lock lever is turned and tightened, and prevents damage to the strut even if a seat mounting seat is turned under the action of excessive external force in a state wherein the lock lever is tightened.
In the seat damper, the seat mounting seat 5 is fitted turnably into an outer periphery of an upper end of the strut 10 wherein an outer tube 1 and an inner tube 2 are fitted elastically into each other, a screw hole 8 is formed in a side part of the mounting seat 5, and an end 9a of the lock lever 9 for reorientation, which is inserted from a lateral direction via the screw hole 8, is tightened or loosened toward an outer-surface side of the strut 10 so as to displace the mounting seat 5 in a desired direction with respect to the strut 10. The seat damper is characterized by inserting a pad 11 facing the end 9a into an inside end of the screw hole 8.
