To alarm that a driver leaves a vehicle by opening a door as in an unsafe condition inputting a change gear, in a vehicle provided with a clutch automatic control unit and controlling automatically to connect and disconnect a clutch depending on the output signal of various sorts of operational condition detecting means.
In a vehicle to connect and disconnect a clutch 1 by using an actuator 23 electronically controlled according to the output signals of various detecting means which detect the operational condition, an engine rotational frequency detecting means 25, a clutch automating switch 32 and a change gear position detecting means 29 and used, and a door opening condition detecting means 38 and an alarm mechanism 40 are provided, and this seat leaving alarm device is furnished with an autoclutch which is composed to operate the alarm mechanism 40 by an electronic control unit 24 by means of information of the detecting means, when it is decided that the engine is rotating, the clutch automating switch is ON, the change gear is IN, and the door is opened. As a result, an unsafe condition that the vehicle starts as the driver leaves the seat while inserting the change gear can be prevented, and the driver can leave the seat easily, in the condition converted to the autoclutch.
