To provide a seat position control method of using one Hall sensor for updating a present position to a limit position, by neglecting the occurrence of a sensor error in a sensor error neglecting section, by applying the sensor error neglecting section to the end of an operation section of respective motors.

This method for controlling a position of a seat by rotation of the motors by using the one Hall sensor includes: a pulse output stage of outputting a pulse from the Hall sensor in response to the rotation of the motors when advancing or retreating the seat by operation of a switch; a motor control stage of controlling the rotation of the motors so that the pulse output from the Hall sensor is output within a sensor error condition; an error condition confirming stage of confirming whether or not the pulse output from the Hall sensor is output within the sensor error condition; and a sensor error occurrence stage of causing the sensor error when confirming that the pulse is output by the sensor error condition or more in the error condition confirming stage.
