Abstract:
To provide a secondary battery which has a relatively simple joint structure between an exterior body and a lid body, facilitates formation of an external electrode, and has a sufficiently higher reliability.SOLUTION: A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a separator arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, an exterior body 20 that has an opening 20a, stores the electrode assembly 10 and is composed of metal, and a lid body 30 that covers the opening and is composed of a resin, in which the exterior body has a folded part 20b obtained by folding the circumference of the opening to the inside of the exterior body, and the lid body seals the opening while being elastically compressed from the outside toward the inside of the exterior body by the folded part of the exterior body on its end face in cross-sectional view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
