To provide a seed germination-promoting apparatus for simultaneously performing sterilization of plant seeds with a biological agrochemical (antagonistic microorganisms) and promotion of their germination.
The seed germination-promoting apparatus works as follows: A biological agrochemical is added to water in a water tank and activated while keeping the system at an appropriate temperature under heating. At the same time, fine bubbles are generated to bring the system to an air-saturated condition, thus promoting seed germination to effect stabilization. For this purpose, utilizing a germination tank and partition wall(s), the bubbles generated by a bubble generator are spread throughout seeds. Furthermore, by adding a minute amount of a surfactant to the water tank, seed germination can be further promoted. After seed germination treatment, microbes in the system can be easily exterminated by using an ozone generator.
