PURPOSE: To manufacture an insulated wire to which a self-fusion function is given, by providing a fusible coat mainly of a copolymer polyamide whose melting point and molecular weight are specified, on a conductor through an insulating coat.

CONSTITUTION: A fusible membrane mainly of a copolymer polyamide whose melting point is 100 to 160°C, and the molecular weight is 0.95 or higher at the reduction specific viscosity, on a conductor 1 through an insulating coat 2. In this case, polyurethane, polyvinyl formal, polyester, or the like is used as the insulating coat 2, while the copolymer polyamide is the copolymer made by combining and polymerizing a dodecane subacid, aminoundecane acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, and the like. As a result, an insulated wire which has a self-fusion function can be obtained, and a deflection yoke coil which has a good fusion property and little deformation can be manufactured.
