PURPOSE: To enable to produce a self-propelling force irrespective of action and reaction, by connecting an eccentric shaft and counterweight supporting members to a rotor, and connecting the eccentric shaft to counterweights supported by the counterweight supporting members.

CONSTITUTION: A rotor 10 is disposed in a freely rotatable manner in the body 1 of the self-propelling apparatus, and an eccentric shaft 23 and counterweight supporting members 12 are connected to the rotor 10. Further, counterweights 11 supported by counterweight supporting members 12 are connected to the eccentric shaft 23 via connecting-rod holders 24 and connecting rods 14. With such an arrangement, when rotor 10 is rotated by a prime mover 3, counterweights 11 are reciprocated in counterweight supporting sections 12 and exert a force to the sections 12. Therefore, a self-propelling force is produced in the self-propelling apparatus 1.
