Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a make-up removing composition that has excellent transparency and rheology with some level of fluidity in a gel state by admixing a specific polysaccharide alkyl ether to a specific make-up removing system.
SOLUTION: In order to prepare a composition for removing make-up from keratin substance and/or to such a composition, is added a combination of a polysaccharide alkyl ether formed from each unit including at least two different saccharide rings that bears at least one hydroxyl group substituted with an alkyl group based on a saturated hydrocarbon with at least one non-aqueous solvent and/or oil. In preferred embodiment, the saccharide rings are selected from mannose, galactose, glucose and the like. The polysaccharide alkyl ether is pref. an alkyl ether of a rubber such as guar gum or karaya gum.
